Our Newest Opportunity:

The Benefits Representative is primarily responsible for providing operational and administrative support for the Client Services Account Management Team. Benefits Representatives provide information, assistance and follow-up to employees, departments and clients in the application of OneDigital’s policies, procedures and documentation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Provides support to Benefits Consultants by coordinating client service needs such as renewal follow-up calls and collecting census/group eligibility status information
  • Works with internal client support teams to triage and manage client concerns/needs and ensures issues are completed in a timely manner
  • Coordinates the submission of Benefit Guides to Market Solutions Team (MST) and ensures a timely delivery
  • Works closely with consultants, clients and other internal teams to ensure proper onboarding of client solutions such as GoCo and Employee Navigator, and provides training and system demonstrations
  • Owns the entire administrative implementation process for new and renewing groups and ensures timely completion
  • Collects required documentation for implementing new partnership business and ensures information is properly captured in CRM.
  • Consistently monitors and manages CRM to ensure timely and up to date information is reflected
  • Effectively and professionally manages multiple appointments, phone calls, and e-mail correspondence with both internal and external clients

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

  • Strong analytical, communication, and listening skills
  • Knowledge of quoting process and tools
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, sets high standards for their own performance, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple and complex tasks in a demanding work environment
  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Expresses consistent positions regardless of audience
  • Sees the big picture and recognizes symptoms that indicate underlying problems
  • Communicates effectively, timely and concisely with consultant and carriers
  • Exhibits good team building skills in terms of facilitation, decision-making, interpersonal communication
  • Demonstrate patience in all customer contact situations, including maintaining a pleasant and professional tone and manner

Education, Training and Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience in the benefits, insurance, health & wealth management industry, preferred; 2+ years’ required
  • 2+ years’ consulting experience or equivalent in related industry; preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly database applications and reporting tools
  • Current life and health insurance license, required
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
