Behavioral Health Executive Director

The Behavioral Health Executive Director will lead a team of managers across multiple states who are serving the severe and persistently mentally ill (SPMI) population in achieving recovery.

Reporting directly to the Senior Executive Director, the Behavioral Health Executive Director will collaborate in the planning and formulation of behavioral health policies and practices, will ensure that high quality services are delivered on a day-to-day basis, will be responsible for overseeing and managing the multi-state operations and will collaborate closely with clinical staff and external stakeholders to achieve organizational goals and maintain high-quality standards.

This position is housed in Louisiana and will cover programs in Louisiana, Pennsylvania, and Virginia, so travel is required.

The pay range for this position is 140-150k/year.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social services field of study, business or health administration.
• 10+ years’ experience in a leadership role managing multi-state programs with a budget of 50 million or more.
• Experience managing executive director level staff.
• Excellent public speaking, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven strategic planning and budgeting experience.
• Demonstrated experience setting, monitoring, and meeting quarterly and annual goals.
• Experience monitoring and evaluating metrics, data analysis, and implementing strategic initiatives for improved service outcomes, client satisfaction and program growth.
