Learn moreJob title: Graduate International Marketing CoordinatorLocation: Greater LondonSalary: £18,000 – £20,000 per annumDuration: 12-month graduate internshipStart Date: ASAPThis is an exciting opportunity, which will provide support to London teams and the overseas network to enable us to deliver integrated content packages each month for a B2B, and B2C audience inclusive of PR hooks, itineraries, media centre stories, editorial pitches, social stories, consumer articles, and creative assets (images/b-roll). The successful candidate will be a valued member of the PR/Social/Content team and will gain hands on learning across all the key areas of a global marketing team.Responsibilities:PR & Influencer:
Media Inquiries/Pitches: Assist London PR team (Domestic & International) with enquiries from the overseas network and domestic media. Generate pitches for media and share newsworthy hooks with overseas network aligned to content calendar and storytelling framework.
Trends/Story monitoring: Responsible for reporting trends & England coverage on a weekly basis. Weekly newsjacking/trend updates and industry newsletters to feed market support.
Content Creation: Crafting copy to build out What’s New in Britain/England key external facing documents.
Press Trips/Events: Assist with campaign and project development and execution including the planning of media and influencer trips and event co-ordination.
Influencer programme: Support across influencer campaigns, evaluation and research tasks aligned to domestic and international activity. GBC (GREAT Brand and Campaigns):
Delivery of integrated marketing and campaign assets through global working (ensuring link into campaign owned/earned activations).
Supporting organisation of shoots and ingestion of assets to our digital asset management system
Support organisation in brand related queries, escalating as required, including managing the Brand Inbox.
Act as a brand champion and support teams in executing the brand, developing understanding of market nuances while balancing the need to maintain consistency of brand message and visual identity.Person RequirementsEducation/Qualifications:
Open to recent graduates.
Studied Marketing, Advertising/Brand, PR, social media, Tourism or Project Management.
Achieved 2:2 or higher.Characteristics:
Excellent administrative and organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
Good knowledge of the UK tourism industry preferable, but not essential.
Understanding of international/domestic media, and what appeals to visitors.
Understanding of the processes and principles surrounding the creation of marketing materials/ campaigns.
Experience in social media, content creation, curation and/or digital platforms.
Good written & verbal communication skills.
Creative thinker with a keen eye for compelling content.
Computer literate including good working knowledge of Microsoft office programmes.
Effective team player with a positive and enthusiastic approach.
Ability to manage own time and input to deliver an agreed schedule of output.
Flexibility to prioritise work in response to ad hoc requests and unexpected developments.
Experience working on integrated marketing campaigns (desirable).
Experience working with an online image library (desirable).
Project management skills (desirable).
Experience working with an online media centre or CRM system (desirable).
