Job Introduction

We are now looking for an experienced Specialist/ Junior Business Partner to support our Corporate Functions and UK Region as a HR Specialist. This is an FTC to cover parental leave.

Role Responsibility

As HR Specialist, you’ll work closely with the Head of HR and two HR Business Partners to deliver our exciting and ambitious people agenda, within BBC Studios. You’ll be embedded within a strong divisional HR team, working closely with central functions to include COO, Technology, Brands, Comms and UK Region.

You will act as a trusted advisor to your business area, working on the people strategy, but also supporting on a wide range of day to day HR issues and projects. This role is quite autonomous, and is an amazing opportunity to develop your HR skills in a fast-paced team. You will be responsible for managing Pay Governance for the Corporate Centre and ensuring we are adhering to governance across BBC Studios.

Are you the right candidate?
You will have previous experience in a HR generalist role, either at Senior Specialist or Junior HR Business Partner level
You will be confident working in a fast-paced and complex environment
You’re confident working autonomously and at pace
You’re proactive and able to take the initiative with problem solving
You’re a great communicator who can build relationships at all levels of the business
You’re looking for a role with the scope to develop your HR skills
