A PROMINENT E-COMMERCE COMPANY BASED OUT OF SEATTLE IS HIRING* for an FULLY REMOTE HR Generalist position on a 3-month contract with the potential for extension/conversion! Daily schedule: M-F; Core Hours – 8:00 – 4:00pm – prefer candidates out of West/East coast
Job Description:* Administers human resources policies and procedures that cover two or more functional areas. Collects and analyzes HR data, and then makes recommendations to management. Processes paperwork for functional area according to established procedures. May prepare internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, or company policies. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Typical Day in the Role:*
Working with the business leaders, answering any questions, offering support, providing coaching
Performance management – if they have questions in regard to how to put it in, what coaching looks like, how to go about making a performance improvement plan, providing feedback
Compensation, talking to management about this, how it’s done, what salaries looks like
Supporting employees with immigration concerns or if an employee needs to be in touch with the right person
Case management – organizing and making sure its up to date with HR partners and facilitate to make sure that moves along well
This role is with supporting HR generalists to support the business.
Been a HR generalist & knows this role and can hit the ground running. Take on ambiguity at a high level.

If they don’t have explicit instructions, be able to be proactive and reach out for help from other HR Business Partners.
Extension/Conversion*
Possibility for extension and conversion
Skills:* Communication, Microsoft Office, Excel, Demonstrative ability to be proactive and look around corners. Basic familiarity with Microsoft office tools, Excel or be able to learn quickly.
