As an Associate Finance Project Manager (FPM), you will be a part of a global team of professionals responsible for supporting the financial follow-up and overall profitability on a portfolio of projects.
You will be responsible for:
- Overseeing a number of projects through close partnership with the Chief Project Manager’s, and all other functions involved.
- Preparing and anchoring financial material for decision and securing long-term profitability targets.
- Working with cross-functional teams of financial experts to optimize project structure though defining and controlling all financial aspects of your projects.
- Applying financial policies and principles and secure the compliance to profitability analysis.
- Securing that project financial analysis are performed and propose required decisions and action plans to secure cost control and efficiency.
- Securing robust and well-documented decision material for management discussion and review. Following up the decided action plans
- Performing additional, Ad hoc analysis, as requested by business partners.
Who You Are
You are a self-driven and pro-active member of the Finance Project Management Team. You are forward looking and aiming at delivering the right support to the business for each project in your portfolio. You are willing to participate in the development of the processes and will foster a dynamic working environment with your colleagues. You adapt quickly to various situations and drive to meet the challenges in a rapidly changing environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Engineer; MBA or Master’s in Engineering preferred
- 0-3 Years of related work experience in Finance, Purchasing, Engineering or another related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or Theoretical Certification, preferred
- Interest in product development projects/streams
- Experience managing requirements, deliverables and milestones: on time/within budget/meeting business needs
