Invoice Finance plays a key part of the cashflow solution for many trading businesses and is a growth product both within LBG and the UK generally, making this an exciting area to develop a career within the wider Group.

We have an opportunity to join the North East & Scotland Sales Team as one of our Associate Directors located in Scotland. This role requires a strong profile in the marketplace to identify and deliver high quality new business opportunities, as well as a collaborative working style to deliver a range of Invoice Finance products for both new and existing bank clients.

What we’ll need from you:
Ideally from an Invoice Finance background, you’re likely to have solid business development and sales experience. You would be required to self-generate leads and educate the external community around both our Invoice Finance & wider SME banking’s offering.

You will visit prospects face-to-face to sell our service and negotiate pricing / terms. You would be responsible for writing structured proposals for sanctioning as well as on-boarding these new clients. You would work closely with our Client Managers who handle the client relationship after the deal has been concluded.

Essential
* Strong knowledge/ understanding of Invoice Finance
* Outstanding business development skills with the stakeholder management capability to ensure business opportunities are maximised
* Experienced in client face to face sales negotiations
* A proficiency in the credit and underwriting process and a fluency in financial analysis
* Strongly connected within the local professional community, and able to demonstrate that you use these connections for business development opportunities
* A genuine interest and understanding in SME businesses and how their business working capital cycle works

This will be a great role for a proven sales performer who wishes to work in a very successful part of the Group and can nurture and build relationships with internal and external partners.
