Under the direction of the Resource Development (RD) Director and working with the National Offices (NO’s), the Associate Director for Corporate Engagement leads the development, implementation and monitoring of corporate engagement strategies for the Asia and the Pacific (AP) region with a primary focus on new business development from Asian Corporations and Multinational Corporations (MNC) based in the region. This person is responsible for raising funds and managing MNC relationships originating from the Global Funding Network (GFNs) and Headquarters (HQ).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead strategy development and revenue generation from Asian corporations and MNCs in the region, working in collaboration with the NO’s. Raise funds as per agreed target.
• Work in collaboration with the RD Director, team members and other departments including Operations, to identify and secure partnerships and funding for strategic initiatives.
• Develop opportunities for strategic partnerships (over $1 million) and funding from corporations by aligning corporate priorities with Habitat’s Theory of Change and programming priorities.
• Support RD team members and the Global Foundations, Organizations, and Institutional (GFOI) funding team to identify potential opportunities for match funding and to leverage funding from corporations for projects with FOI donors.
• Support the GFN’s, HQ team and RD Director with coordinating relationship management and (donor) account management of regional and global MNCs working in the AP region.
• Build a positive, open and collaborative work environment within AP and with the NO’s, to work collectively together towards meeting fundraising targets for the AP region.
• Lead regional revenue generation activities to support key events such as Asia Pacific Housing Forum (APHF), Habitat Young Leaders Build (HYLB) and other future events.
• Support effective donor relations management in collaboration with the Operations and Global Compliance Donor Reporting (GCDR) team.
• Represent the organization at corporate events and engagements with the goal of increasing Habitat’s brand profile and visibility.
• Ensure effective data management through the Customer Relations Management (CRM).
• Manage and coach direct reports.

Minimum Requirements:
Education
• BA/BS required, MBA and Training in Fundraising in Asian and exposure to USA and European region desirable
Years of Related Experience:
• 10+ years of front-line and managerial experience in fundraising from corporations

Qualifications:
• Demonstrated track record in fundraising in an environment of similar complexity
• Experience in a multi-national federated organization with the ability to thrive
• Demonstrated leadership skills

• Superior negotiation and presentation skills
• Strong development-related technology skills (internet, social media etc.)

• Working knowledge of CRM
