Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 2 Years, Mount Kisco office of our client seeks an associate attorney with 2-4 years of divorce/family law experience. The candidate will be expected to manage a challenging caseload and handle cases from start to finish independently with tasks including Court appearances in Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Ulster and Westchester Counties, Legal Research, Client and/or witness preparation and interviews, Legal drafting of correspondence, subpoenas, orders, discovery and motions, Conducting hearings and/or trials, Client consultations (to attain new hires), and Client meetings/phone conferences. Must be licensed to practice in New York State.Additional Skills: The candidate must have a JD degree. Possesses strong research and writing skills. Must be a motivated self-starter. Possesses time management skills. Must be a team player who works well with support staff and fellow attorneys.
