What Will The Role Involve
- Assist with completion of month end activities in line with Checklist
- Assist with Bank & Petty Cash Reconciliations
- Post monthly journals into general ledger
- Prepayments and Accruals update and posting
- Assist with the preparation and submission of external reports such as EC Sales Lists / Intrastat Returns / VAT Returns & National Statistics
- Calculation of Inventory Reserves
- Assist with Departmental Cost Centre Reporting
- Assist with Inventory Analysis reporting
- Assist accrual analysis
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Item Cost Analysis
- Produce and report on Faulty/Returns/Scrap inventory analysis
- Preparation/Review of Daily Sales reporting
- Statutory Tax Analysis
Suitable Candidates
- Some prior finance experience or the eagerness to learn alongside studying for a relevant qualification (AAT/ A Levels or CICM)
- Ability to pick up new IT systems quickly and a good working knowledge of excel
