We are currently seeking an experienced and CIPD qualified HR professional to join our team as an Assistant HR Business Partner. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in driving our people agenda and supporting the overall success of our organisation.

Your expertise will be utilised to develop great partnerships with your business areas, coaching and supporting our leaders to understand and implement our people policies and practices so that our colleagues thrive and deliver the best outcomes for our customers and business. As well as building great relationships you will be comfortable working with data to be able to present management information on a regular basis that informs strategic decision making.

Your previous experience in advising on complex employee relations cases will enable you to work in partnership with our external employee relations provider, supporting our leaders on all aspects of casework including restructures and redundancies, disciplinaries, grievances and attendance management.

The role will require a blend of strong coaching and advisory skills, balanced with effective influencing techniques. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to analyse, understand and present data are essential for this position. A customer-focused mindset, delivering excellent customer service, is integral to this role, and you will be comfortable using your own initiative to work independently, whilst also supporting the Senior HRBPs in your area, and the wider team.

This role also demands someone with a strong commercial awareness, who understands risks, and comprehends the business impact in all aspects of the people agenda.

You can be based at any of our workspaces in Wolverhampton, Tewkesbury or Lichfield. You’ll enjoy a flexible week split between workspaces and home.

A full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle are a must for this dynamic role. ?

Due to the nature of the role, a Basic DBS check will be required.
