The role
We are looking for a dynamic Assets Reporting and Systems Officer to join the Asset Strategy team to provide systems oversight, and support with system monitoring and training of the asset management, housing and energy databases.
By collaborating with the ICT department and external software providers, you will act as the main point of contact to resolve any issues raised by system users and be proactive in finding solutions, identifying improvements on how data is captured across our asset systems and presented to others through our core reporting suite.
Using Excel and Business Intelligence tools, you will develop new ways of working by analysing data in our systems to facilitate with the collation of data to support the production of statutory/regulatory reports.
The role holder will ensure the data held in our systems is fit for purpose, consistent across systems, accurately recorded and configured appropriately to support with the business reporting requirements of the wider Asset Management team.
The right fit
- You will have the ability to confidently analyse multiple and large datasets to support the reporting requirements of the Asset Management team and other internal/external stakeholders.
- You will have experience of working in an organised and methodical manner to reconcile asset data across systems to ensure consistency and accuracy with strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
- You will provide recommendations to data management, ensuring the collation of data relating to up-to-date legislative requirements are reflected in the data capture processes and can be reported on effectively, promoting automation where possible.
- You will need to be an excellent communicator who can build strong stakeholder relationships with the ability to report on data from various sources and present this information to others through bespoke reports.
- Must be able to adapt to changing business needs and regulatory requirements associated with asset management functions.
