COMMERCIAL ASSET MANAGER – Nantes

PROFILE

In order to support the Operations activities, the Commercial Asset Manager’s main missions are:

  • Ensure the commercial management and support the technical management of a portfolio of renewable energy production assets to maximize the economical results and optimize the operating costs;
  • Ensure the compliance of the asset portfolio.

In cooperation with his/her team leader and the Wind Farm Managers, the Asset Manager is responsible for carrying out the following activities:

1. Contractual and administrative management

  • Supervise the execution of operating and maintenance contracts associated with the asset portfolio assigned and the respect for associated guarantees;
  • Issue the purchasing orders related to the services of operation and maintenance contracts and monitor them;
  • Ensure the sale of production to customers (contract management, invoicing, price calculation and indexing, control of the quantities produced, etc.);
  • Supervise the execution of land agreements (payment of rents, monitoring of third parties, etc.);
  • Ensure the management and implementation of solutions aimed at solving all those order problems (i.e. administrative, technical, etc.) that may happen in the operating phase;
  • Ensure the compliance of the assigned asset portfolio (i.e. legal, environmental, security, compensatory measures, etc.) and the deployment of compliance measures, if necessary;
  • Participate in the preparation of warranty calls, claims under insurance policies, disputes, etc.

2. Budgeting and Reporting

  • Prepare the budget for the operation and maintenance of the assigned asset portfolio;
  • Control and optimize the operating and maintenance costs of the assigned asset portfolio;
  • Manage the financial and budgetary aspects related to the operation and maintenance of the assigned asset portfolio in close collaboration with the accounting team to ensure timely delivery (monthly and quarterly reporting, deposit of accounts, etc.);
  • Provide technical reporting to lenders and answer to their questions in cooperation with the group’s Performance and Treasury departments;
  • Ensure the administrative formalities for the asset portfolio (survey INSEE, CSPE, etc.).

3. Miscellaneous

  • Work in collaboration with the other departments to support the development efforts of new projects (repowering, etc.) and coordinate transversal activities;
  • Manage the transition to Operations of the newly built assets;
  • Interact with the technical teams for all technical aspects of asset management;
  • Participate in the development of solutions to maximize the return and / or the lifespan of the assets, taking into account the financial aspects concerned.

Studies: BAC +5

Work Experience: 2 years in similar position

Languages :

French mothertongue, English B2. Italian is a plus

IT Skills:

  • Excellent in MS Office tools
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP is a plus
