Job Description

Function – Lead Asia eCommerce strategy, processes, technology and operational execution focused on product presence, online merchandising and demand generation programs and tactics. Builds capabilities in partnership with Division/Area Marketing, Channel and KA teams through dedicated/aligned resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Asia eCommerce strategy for the Business Group
  • Manages operational aspects of channel partner models (e.g., eMarketplace, PurePlay & Omnichannel models), working with KA, Channel & Division teams, driving eCommerce sales
  • Supports and enables E2E content pipeline to deliver assets to channel partners across GTM models
  • With eCommerce, drive conversion by guiding best practices for optimizing product presence, merchandising and demand generation programs through joint business planning and test & learn execution.
  • Champion processes to measure, benchmark and track eCommerce programs and sales.
  • Identify, select, deploy and maintain digital shelf tools, technologies and capabilities that enable optimization of the catalogs online.
  • Share global best practices, through playbooks, online and in-person training sessions.
  • Conducts external analysis (e.g., trends, value chain, situation analysis, competitive intelligence) tied to business group and divisional strategy for eCommerce optimization.
  • Drive standardize product content associations at a SKU level in collaboration with Divisions for product syndication readiness
  • Build and manage a high-performance team, including indirect reports

Selection Criteria

  • Experience in working and developing eCommerce strategy in the industrial business.
  • Good understanding of channel business within Asia region.
  • Experience in managing eCommerce program or any marketing campaign.
  • Strong collaborations and influencing skills; able manage key stakeholders and manage high performance teams cross regionally and functionally.
