Temporary/secondment contract for 12 months | £22,369 to £24,054 per annum (Scale E) | 37 hours per week | County Hall, Norwich

Do you have a passion both for providing first class support and for Learning and Development? Do you have the expertise and knowledge of project coordination and apprenticeships to support not just our busy Apprenticeships Team, but our wider our strategic ambitions?

We want to enable NCC to become an employer that reflects the communities of Norfolk, makes best use of their talents, supports social mobility and is increasingly attractive and accessible for those groups who have historically not been adequately represented within our workforce.

Our Apprenticeships team have grown the uptake of apprenticeships from one to 373 over the past three years and we want to see this success rate continue.

We are looking for an Apprenticeships Project Coordinator to join our Apprenticeships team to work in partnership with apprentices, managers, providers and key stakeholders to provide efficient and effective coordination support for apprenticeship activity.

You will support the Apprenticeships and Talent Development Partner and Apprenticeships Advisors with excellent administrative and coordination support along with project monitoring, to ensure smooth and well communicated procedures and data sets that will underpin the successful delivery of the apprenticeships programme and processes.

You will be responsible for the coordination and administrative support of a range of initiatives and activities that support the apprenticeship programme, establishing and maintaining processes and systems to keep accurate records, and producing updated project plans.

You will need a solid understanding of project coordination support and excellent customer service, along with a demonstrable passion for early career development and strong organisational skills to be able to manage multiple projects.

Working within the Apprenticeships team and reporting to the Apprenticeship and Talent Development Partner, as part of the Norfolk Development Academy, you will have a can-do approach, be a pro-active self-starter, able to manage your own workload and work flexibly within the learning and development teams.

You will:
– Be innovative when posed with the option to offer support or advice around apprenticeships.
– Have initiative and clear ownership for your deliverables so you require minimal supervision.
– Have demonstrable first-class knowledge and experience of administration and coordination, ideally in a learning environment.
– Be proactive, and promptly able to anticipate existing and future needs of the team, managers and Council.
– Be a strong and visible communicator that can build both a rapport with stakeholders and a reputation as a trusted colleague to HR and the Council.
– Be curious and analytical when it comes to assessing how we continuously improve our learning services.
– Be collaborative and willing at the same time to challenge the status quo

In return we offer fantastic benefits, the flexibility of working from home, a great team to work with and the opportunity for individual further development and training.

For any informal enquiries you can contact [email protected] and a member of the team will reply to you.

We want our people to be inspired and motivated to work well together, make the most of our workspaces, enjoy a healthy work-life balance, and deliver excellent services to Norfolk and its people. Flexibility is built into the way we work, with hybrid working a key feature for many roles. Our technology platform and equipment are first class, enabling you to connect and collaborate remotely. We ask that you have in place good Broadband connectivity.
