The job

As an Applied Deep Learning Researcher within this rapidly growing startup, you’ll guide state of the art Deep Learning research with a focus on accent conversion, using advanced AI voice technology that helps speakers better understand each other by filtering and changing accents in real time.

Working closely with top cited researchers within the R&D team, you’ll delve into accent conversion research and development. This includes finding ways to improve models and introduce modern DL and ML techniques for speech.

You’ll lead the R&D roadmap for new deep learning concepts, and develop novel deep learning architectures for voice and accent conversion with low latency and low CPU utilization constraints.

About you

With your deep learning experience in speech technology, you’ll join with a strong academic or industry background – ideally a PhD, or Masters with plenty of prior experience.

You’ll need experience in the speech domain, such as one of the following; text to speech (TTS), voice conversion, speech to text (STT), speech enhancement or other speech topic. You’ll also have experience with different model approaches such as GANs, diffusion models, flow models, self-supervised learning techniques, or VAEs. Experience with PyTorch and knowledge of state of the art research applied to speech is also important.

This is a fully remote position and can work from anywhere. Although, if you are based in India, you have the option to go into the office and have the flexibility to design a working pattern that suits you and your research style.
