We are looking for an experienced, highly skilled, motivated Analyst to join our team.

We are looking for an Analyst to join our fast-paced, exciting team. Focussing on Mental Health and the crucial services that it provides, you will work alongside other analysts, as well as operational and clinical colleagues, to produce essential information and intelligence that will guide key decision makers in their work to ensure the best outcomes for patients. Due to the integration mental health has across different NHS providers and services, this is an excellent opportunity for existing NHS analysts, or those from other sectors, to grow their knowledge of the NHS as a whole, be exposed to new data sets, and work in a team of analysts who are constantly looking to improve their skill set and share their learning.

For this post, experience with managing stakeholder relationships and proven analytical skills in SQL, R, Tableau, or the equivalent, are particularly welcomed. Senior Analysts oversee team members to deliver analytical requirements and engage and liaise with key stakeholders. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop technical skills in data and analytics while gaining valuable experience in both people and project management.

Example Projects We Are Currently Working On Are

  • Engagement with national data teams and local systems to influence improvement in data quality, supporting the systems with their Mental Health Data Set data maturity and reporting
  • Understanding the growing issue of eating disorders in children and young people, to ensure we are adapting our services to provide the best for these patients
  • Using data in new ways to highlight the lasting effect of the COVID pandemic on the population
  • Working with partners to build a series of benchmarking tools and capacity and demand models, making sure our services are fit for the future
  • Developing insightful data visualisations that tell a story for routine automated reporting in Tableau, R, or equivalent software efficient solutions, and can be shared across regions to reduce duplication

Responding to ad hoc deep dives, providing bespoke analysis including triangulating and synthesising a story of an emergency pathway or for a system at speed.

The base of this role will be Premier House, Reading as this is where your team will be based.

The interview will be on the 12th or 13th May 2022 and will be conducted virtually.
