VOTRE POSTE ET VOS RESPONSABILITÉS

Your main responsibility is to provide leadership and coordination of all logistical activities in order to provide a rapid and quality emergency response during an emergency deployment

More specifically you will be in charge of :
– Contribute to the definition of the mission’s emergency response strategy – During deployments and in close collaboration with the Logistics Regional Referent
– Develop the mission’s emergency response logistics strategy
– Ensure the availability of logistics information to other departments for the definition of the emergency response strategy
– Develop in time and quality the logistics part of the “emergency programmatic project submissions (“proposal”)” and donor reports

– Coordinate Emergency Logistics at the National level – Manage and optimize the logistics organization of emergency programs
– Supervise the implementation of the supply strategy for emergency programs and validate the steps according to ACF procedures. Write requests for waivers when necessary.
– Supervise the management of equipment for emergency programs: allocations, transfers from one program to another, depreciation

– Manage the emergency logistics teams (hierarchical and functional)
– Internal and External Coordination – Participation in the selection process of emergency partners and validation of the risk analysis on logistical aspects
– Defining with partners the logistical management modalities in the framework of jointly implemented projects

VOTRE PROFIL

You have At least a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 3 years of experience in a similar role within an NGO.
You demonstrate a perfect leadership capacity and have strong people management skills
You are able to manage and optimize a project specifically in an emergency context.
You are a strategic thinker with a strong drive for efficiency in service delivery.
You developp an excellent sense of planning activities and priorities.
Fluent English is mandatory, Polish or Ukrainian would be a plus.

VOS CONDITIONS D’EMPLOI

This position is conditional upon first ongoing field assessments. The position may be definitively confirmed depending on the results of the evaluations.
The place of performance of the contract is also to be confirmed (Poland / Romania / Moldavia).
– 6 months fixed term contract under French legislation
– Monthly gross salary from 24450 to 2800EUR upon experience
– Child allowance: 1500EUR per year per child present in the country of origin (maximum 6000EUR/year)
– 16% of the gross monthly salary for pension insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens
– Transportation and accommodation: Coverage of transportation costs and guest house
– Medical coverage: 100% coverage of health contributions (social security + health insurance) and repatriation insurance
– Leaves and RnR: 25 days of paid leaves per year, 20 RnR per year and 215 EUR at each RnR period
