RESPONSIBILITIES

As Area Coordinator, you provide leadership for ACF in the Eastern region of Ukraine in order to deliver a quality and timely humanitarian response to events as assigned.
Your main objectives are:
1) Provide Leadership and/or Set-up and Support to Operational and Program Implementation
2) Involvement in Programming and Strategy Development
3) Overall accountability for Area Finance, Human Resources, and Logistics
4) Safety Decision maker for the operations in the East of Ukraine.
REQUESTED PROFILE

You have a level of education / specific degree or specialization required: University degree in international development, social sciences or equivalent, with at least 3 years of field experience with iNGOs
You have proven ability to work independently under pressure with tight deadlines
You are pragmatic and results oriented, creative and out of the box thinker
You are flexible and able to adapt quickly to fast pace complex dynamics and changing context
You are able to manage competing priorities, large teams and large size and scope of programs / operations
You have the willingness and capable of travelling on field trips and living in remote areas, Cultural sensitivity and experience working in conflict sensitive areas
You have experience in external representation and external coordination
You have experience in security management in volatile contexts
Your are an excellent communicator, have good listening and negotiation skills, and are a real team player
You have advanced programme cycle management skills including programme planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation
You have skills in budget management and donor reporting/ accountability/ compliance
You have the ability to contribute timely to project proposals and high-quality reports
You are fluent in English , Russian or Ukrainian is an asset

SPECIFIC CONDITIONS / SALARY

– 6 months fixed term contract under French legislation
– Monthly gross salary from 2735EUR to 3185EUR upon experience
– Monthly per diem and living allowance: 295 + 198EUR net, field paid
– Monthly country allowance: 450EUR
– Child allowance: 1500EUR per year per child present in the country of origin (maximum 6000EUR/year)
– 16% of the gross monthly salary for pension insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens
– 15% of the gross salary for specific flying allowance
– Transportation and accommodation: Coverage of transportation costs and guest house
– Medical coverage: 100% coverage of health contributions (social security + health insurance) and repatriation insurance
– Leaves and RnR: 25 days of paid leaves per year, 20 RnR per year and 215 EUR at each RnR period
