Responsible for all functions and systems pertaining to Bank to Bank wire transfers. Responsible for performing assigned accounting, clerical, and related member services functions for the Central Processing Department. Posts and balances wire transactions on a daily basis and oversees the wire transfer GL. Researches and resolves discrepancies, variances, and problems. Responsible to assist in answering phone calls and providing excellent member service to staff and members.
Assumes responsibility for the accurate and efficient performance of Fedline wire transactions.
Process and oversee all bank to bank wire transactions. Ensures that all requests are processed in a timely manner to prevent penalties or service issues.
Processes all settlement and investment wire transactions and posts all incoming wire transfers.
Researches outages and errors and makes necessary adjustments to member and GL accounts.
Assumes responsibility for effectively researching, tracking, and resolving associated problems or discrepancies.
Ensures that functions are completed with established policies and procedures.
Keeps statistics of all wire related functions.

Assumes responsibility for ensuring that all wire functions are completed in accordance with established policies, procedures, and legal standards.
Monitors procedures, policies and service delivery.
Provides suggestions for improved service delivery.
Reviews individual accounts or makes call backs to protect the credit union from fraud especially as associated with large dollar wires.
Assumes responsibility for maintaining effective business relations with members, branch employees, financial professionals, and government officials.
Responds to (or refers) questions or problems promptly and courteously.
Gathers information required and keeps members appropriately informed.
Maintains the Credit Union’s professional reputation.
Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication and coordination with Credit Union personnel and with management.
Assists Department personnel as needed.
Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems.
Assumes responsibilities for related duties as required or assigned.
Completes special projects as assigned.
Keeps work area clean, secure, and well maintained.
Training/Education/Certification
High school graduate or equivalent.
Accounting course work helpful.
Required Knowledge
Complete knowledge of TellerPro and teller functions
Knowledge of Wire Transfers
Skills/Abilities
Excellent telephone, communication, and public relations skills
Attentive to detail
Well organized, able to organize own work, and to work independently
Ability to assist others
Good math skills
Able to operate required computer, systems, applications, and telephone
Able to work flexible hours as needed including some Saturdays
