Job Description
The Investment Product Development Manager is responsible for the organization and assembly of quarterly materials for board meetings and Trustees. The incumbent also organizes and analyzes investment data in support of our product managers. This individual is involved in ongoing product management responsibilities and supporting the other product managers within the group on initiatives and ongoing management responsibilities. This includes working closely with investment teams, performance, portfolio analytics and compliance teams in developing and producing materials. Finally, the individual would be expected to support our sales and marketing efforts via providing data and analysis of our portfolios.
RESPONSIBILITES:
Ability to work independently across the broader organization to pull data and compile/analyze information for senior leadership
Be a resource on our products and industry intelligence/trends; requires becoming expert on leading resources for global institutional market data & intelligence including publications, investment consultant research, management consulting research, etc.
Managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and with a quick turnaround, offering advice pro-actively and remaining focused in a fast-paced environment
Utilize MS Excel (macros writing, pivot tables, etc..) and PowerPoint to construct detailed analysis for Product, Sales and Marketing partners
Leverage research tools such as Barclays, Bloomberg, Fed, Morningstar, etc. to run models and ensure data is up to date for Product Teams
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
2 plus years of investment industry experience.
Desired Qualifications
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills.
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
Working knowledge of capital structures and business entities; strong technical and analytical abilities including accounting skills; strong computer skill level with MS Office, Word, MS Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including the ability to write and create macros, formulas, pivot tables.
Demonstrated outstanding flexibility, teamwork, and leadership.
Drive for results, conveying a sense of urgency and bringing issues to closure despite obstacles and opposition.
Self-starter who regularly demonstrates creativity and the ability to generate new ideas.
MBA and/or CFA charter (in progress).
