Project Role Description : Provide detailed assessment of existing solutions and infrastructure to migrate to the GCP cloud.

Deliver migration strategy based on detailed analysis and implement application and data migration activities.

Create HLD and LLD for IBM AIX on GCP cloud

Implement scalable, high performance hosting solutions that meet the need of today’s corporate and digital applications using both private and public cloud technologies.

Deliver legacy infrastructure transformation and migration to drive next-generation business outcomes.

Work Experience : 10-14 years

Must Have Skills : AIX System Administration

Good To Have Skills : Cloud Migration Planning and Execution

Job Requirements :

• Key Responsibilities :

1: Resource would be responsible for understanding AIX landscape

2: Resource would be responsible for capturing client requirements

3: Resource would be responsible for migration approach for AIX

4: Resource would be responsible for migrating planning execution of AIX workloads

• Technical Experience :

1: AIX OS Migration from AIX 53/61 to AIX 71/72

2: IBM Power Systems technology refresh from POWER4/5/6 to POWER7/8/9 systems

3: Migrate legacy HACMP and PowerHA versions from 54/55/61 to PowerHA 71/72

4: Build HMC, Virtual I/O servers VIOS and AIX LPARs in POWER8/9 systems

5: Create and maintain process documentation and run-book for migrations 6: Change, problem management and compliance7:Troubleshoot any potential issues in any of the above listed tasks

• Professional Attributes :

1: Communicates and convey complex ideas effectively

2: Very good presentation skills

3: Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

• Educational Qualification : 1: Bachelor’s degree/BE

• Additional Information :

1: Knowledge of best practices, market tools

2: AZURE/AWS/GCP Certification needed
