Line#4322 Air Terminal Passenger AssistantLabor CategoryFN4Job OverviewThe Air Terminal Passenger Assistant processes passengers and baggage on Military and Commercial fixed wing/rotary aircraft. Ensures anti-hijacking briefings and inspections for all outbound passengers and baggage are conducted IAW TSA and local laws. Monitors inbound passenger���s baggage claim and customs clearance procedures. Monitors lost/mishandled baggage. Transports passengers to/from aircraft.Roles And ResponsibilitiesFollows all procedures set by contract Performance Work Statement (PWS), SallyPort Standard Operating Procedures, AFI���s, AMCI���s and Air Terminal Operations Manager objectives for all passenger service functions aboard all US Military and Contractor controlled aircraft departing/arriving Balad AB.Produces passenger manifests used by Air Terminal Operations Center (ATOC) and Iraqi Intelligence Office for scheduling of next day���s missionsCompiles 72 and 96-hour passenger forecast data error free and passes to site Leadership for employee travel verificationWorks with SallyPort Travel as well as SAT clients to schedule seats for out/inbound SallyPort Charter missions to and from BaghdadCoordinates with Iraqi Immigrations on all flight departure and arrival timesChecks-in outbound passengers and baggage prior to flights.Completes accurate passenger manifests prior to aircraft departure.Screens all passengers and baggage (checked and hand carried) for prohibited items IAW TSA and local lawsBriefs passengers on terminal procedures and anti-hijack requirementsBuilds and breaks down baggage pallets as requiredMeets all inbound aircraft and downloads passengersAssists arriving passengers through inbound Iraqi Immigrations and Customs inspectionsPerforms lost/mishandled baggage functionsFiles Passenger Service records IAW with SallyPort and contract PWSTransports passengers to and from aircraft via busMaintains upkeep of all vehicles, facilities and equipment required to support passenger service operations IAW Site Policies and directives.Provides support to other departments within Air Terminal Operations as required.Performs all other related duties as assigned by Management.Qualifications & CertificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Must possess a valid driver���s licenseMust be able to complete airfield driving course and maintain an active airfield driver license.Knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.Knowledge of Passenger Terminal functions, baggage processing, Customer Service and Anti-Hijacking functionsKnowledge of transport aircraft types, capabilities, configuration and weight factors.Skills, Abilities And Years Of ExperienceMust be able to read, write, speak and understand English fluentlyMust be able to provide quality customer service to clientsMust be able to read and understand airlift transportation directives and documentation as well as border clearance requirements.Able to operate X-ray machines, Magnetometers, Hand-Held Wands and automated data processing equipment.Able to operate Passenger Buses both standard and manual transmissions.Able to lift to 55 poundsAble to stand for extended periods of time and work in an austere environment.Acuity International is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
