DRS is seeking a dedicated and visionary Air Quality Program Manager for an international non-governmental organization.

The Air Quality Program Manager will be responsible for providing strategic and programmatic direction to ensure the successful execution of the Air Quality Program in Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deliver, and regularly review the Air Quality Program strategy aligning it with external environmental factors and broader partner strategies.
  • Provide input into regular strategic planning processes.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with political and policy leaders at the city government level.
  • Stay informed about developments in the air quality field.
  • Map stakeholders, identify potential project partners, and establish partnerships that advance program objectives.
  • Ensure complementarity with existing initiatives and balance the interests of diverse stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of grants, overseeing the end-to-end grant management process.
  • Develop an implementation work plan, provide regular updates, and escalate decisions when necessary.
  • Monitor and report on grant performance, promoting a culture of data collection and reporting.
  • Support resource planning and management, including potential management of freelancers and consultants.

Qualifications:

  • Successful track record in air quality, climate action planning, environmental policies in Indonesia.
  • Experience in strategy development of complex programs.
  • Familiarity with engaging and influencing key stakeholders.
  • Well-versed in grant development, management, and contracting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build effective partnerships and networks across sectors.
  • Ability to influence and engage through sophisticated communications and campaigning approaches.
  • Strong written skills, including the ability to write or edit strategy and briefing papers.
  • Analytical with the ability to switch seamlessly between hands-on details, management, strategy, and influence.
  • Comfortable working autonomously with a pragmatic and problem-solving approach.
