Role description

We are seeking a diligent and innovative AI Specialist to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in Dubai. The AI Specialist will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of algorithms that enable machines to understand and interpret human language, learn from data to make predictions or decisions, and recognize patterns, objects, and environments in digital images and videos.

This role focuses on pioneering developments in Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Machine Learning (ML) to drive innovation and solve complex challenges.

Scope of Work:

– Design, develop, and deploy ML models that improve decision-making processes and product features.

– Utilize Computer Vision techniques to analyze and interpret visual data from various sources.

– Apply NLP methodologies to understand and generate human language and improving user interactions.

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI technologies into comprehensive solutions.

Responsibilities:

-Algorithm Development: Create robust algorithms for Computer Vision, NLP, and ML tasks, optimizing for performance and scalability.

– Data Analysis and Modeling: Handle large datasets, perform statistical analysis, and tune models for accuracy and efficiency.

– Product Integration: Work closely with product teams to embed AI capabilities into existing and new product lines.

– Innovation and Research: Lead initiatives to explore new technologies, techniques, and tools in AI.

– Knowledge Sharing: Act as a mentor within the team, sharing insights and best practices in AI development.

Qualifications:

– Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Computer Science, AI, Computer Engineering, or related field.

– Proven experience in Computer Vision, NLP, and ML, evidenced by a portfolio of projects or published research.

– Expertise in programming languages and frameworks such as Python, NLTK, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and OpenCV.

-Knowledge of pre-trained models and their applications in generating text, understanding language, and creating embeddings. ChatGPT is a plus.

– Experience with Azure Web Services.

– Experience working in the public health sector is an advantage.

– Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and statistical methods.

– Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

– Advanced language proficiency in English.
