Hexagon’s Autonomy & Positioning division is looking for an Agriculture Test Engineer to join our high-tech engineering and manufacturing company that is committed to customer service excellence and continuous improvement. Reporting to our Agriculture Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and leading best system test practice whilst designing automated and manual test suites. Responsibilities

• Design and implement both automated and manual software testing suites for Hexagon Autonomy & Positioning‘s agriculture products
• Promote and lead our best practices across software and systems testing
• Define, develop, and carry out test processes and tools
• Test all software delivered as per defined test schedules and processes including documentation
• Participate and contribute to Hexagon A&P’s test engineering community of practice
• Develop, iterate, monitor, and report performance and contextual metrics
• Create data characterization models using statistics, mathematics, and data analytics

Qualifications

Must-Have:

• 3+ years’ experience in software test design and execution or software development with a large proportion of testing
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Geomatics or related discipline
• Excellent analytical skills and be able to produce high-quality testing reports, procedures, and other similar documentation
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle

Nice-to-Have:

• 10+ years’ experience in software test design and execution or software development with a large proportion of testing
• Previous agriculture/farm experience
• Experience with test automation and/or worked within a formal software testing environment
• Understanding of web-based bug tracking and project software (e.g. JIRA )
• Knowledge of data analytics to process and visualize complex product performance data sets
• Scripting experience using Python
• Understanding of GPS/GNSS technology and products
• Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) operators license
