This position is with Hexagon’s Autonomy & Positioning division, a global technology leader, pioneering end-to-end solutions industry leaders rely on for assured positioning and autonomy on land, sea and air. Responsibilities
- Design and implement both automated and manual software testing suites for Hexagon Autonomy & Positioning‘s agriculture products
- Promote and lead our best practices across software and systems testing
- Define, develop, and carry out test processes and tools
- Test all software delivered as per defined test schedules and processes including documentation
- Participate and contribute to Hexagon A&P’s test engineering community of practice
- Develop, iterate, monitor, and report performance and contextual metrics
- Create data characterization models using statistics, mathematics, and data analytics
Qualifications
Must-Have:
- 3+ years’ experience in software test design and execution or software development with a large proportion of testing
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Geomatics or related discipline
- Excellent analytical skills and be able to produce high-quality testing reports, procedures, and other similar documentation
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle
Nice-to-Have:
- 10+ years’ experience in software test design and execution or software development with a large proportion of testing
- Previous agriculture/farm experience
- Experience with test automation and/or worked within a formal software testing environment
- Understanding of web-based bug tracking and project software (e.g. JIRA )
- Knowledge of data analytics to process and visualize complex product performance data sets
- Scripting experience using Python
- Understanding of GPS/GNSS technology and products
- Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) operators license
