Advisory Services Presales Architect ��������� Data Centre Transformation

Help Dell Technologies customize solutions for customers with a role on our Solutions Principal team. On this team, you���������ll guide the analysis, design and development of solutions for customers, provide technical support and direction to sales teams in the field and assure the compatibility of these solutions with customer systems and strategic business plans.

What You���������ll Achieve

The Architect defines the overall Dell solution for the customer and makes presentations on all aspects of company products and services. Assist the sales staff in assessing potential application of company products and services to meet customer needs. Prepare detailed product specifications foelling high-end products and solutions. Conduct customer needs analysis. Provide project scoping. Coordinate internal specialists and inter-departmental activities. Assist sellers in creating demand.

You Will

  • Support highly complex accounts. Gain access and manage relationships with executive-level technical staff and decision makers. May devise new approaches/methods to selling enterprise/client products and services. Verify operability of highly complex product and service configuration within the customer���������s environment. Verify roles and responsibilities required to support account team. Understand market and industry data to provide thought leadership to position value of the solution. Leverage third-party and/or the Channel to create and position the solution.
  • Provide counsel across account team in analyzing customer requirements and performing advanced systems integration. Provide technical expertise to design and implement solution using breadour products and services. Qualify highly complex sales opportunities in terms of customer technical requirements, competition, decision making process and funding. Presents the design and value of proposed solution and business case to customers, prospects and management at a senior, sometimes executive level.
  • Be recognized internally and externally as a thought leader on the industry, our business model and competitors.
  • Be regularly engaged at client facilities (when permitted) to deliver high-impact presentations leveraging strong technical skills.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in a senior level services presales capacity, with expert understanding of Dell Technologies��������� products and services portfolio ��������� in particular in the area of Data Centre Transformation.
  • Used to working with customers in complex business environments to devise new and innovative solutions to business challenges.
  • Proven ability to antimer needs beyond existing scope of enterprise/client products and services.
  • Requires a high degree of technical competency to respond to customer needs and to discuss product capabilities and applications with technical users/buyers.
