Insight is CRS’ web-based, real-time system that was launched to provide staff the tools they need to work more efficiently and effectively and help to give more visibility and controls of daily operations.

Job Summary

The HRIS Training Advisor II is responsible for coordination and support of training delivery targeted to development or improvement of CRS engagement in the Insight Human Capital Management (HCM) system (policies, procedures, and behavior). Your knowledge, advice and guidance will ensure effectiveness and efficiency in CRS Insight system and application of the principles of stewardship, integrity, and accountability. You will ensure that staff can effectively navigate the business processes, forms, and fields of Insight. Under the guidance and direction of the Sr. Advisor, Global Human Resources (HR), you will work with key stakeholders to lead and coordinate logistics and support for training of HR staff and others on procedures, guidance documents, and training for HR Insight modules.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Global People Resources (GPR)/HR Insight team liaison for GPR/HR Insight trainings and a key point of contact for Insight training needs.

  • Collaborate on requirements of Insight access for users. Coordinate and ensure training is delivered in support of GPR/HR system access requirements.

  • Support to facilitate deployment testing and training or training support for Insight GPR/HR access

    • Identify Primary Trainers and instructors
    • Identify testers in support of expansion initiatives
  • Facilitate Education Sessions, Training of Trainers (ToT) & End-User Training (EUT), provide input and facilitate post-EUT learning activities. Follow up with internal technical resources on stakeholders’ unanswered questions.

  • Collaborate with Global People Human Resources Information System (HRIS) team and Change Management for implementing and strengthening learning, processes and policies to meet all learning needs.

    • Utilize Project Insight templates and standards for learning materials. Review and understand learning approaches.
    • Ensuring inclusivity of diverse inputs from representatives of the intended community
  • Together with the Global People HRIS team, help ensure understanding of how HCM changes may affect particular GPR/HR policies and procedures for HCM, prioritized by its impact on system implementation success.

  • Implement CRS Knowledge Management and Learning (KML) best practices to improve Insight learning and adoption, including ensuring sufficient training of new hires, promotions (e.g. entering into new roles and responsibilities)

  • Conduct spot checks on the system to see if policies and procedures are being followed. Provide follow-up advice and training as needed.

  • Travel for in- person trainings as needed and possibly to set-up in new locations during emergencies

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, International Development, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Five years experience with HRIS responsibilities and/or Knowledge, Management and Learning role
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools

Required Language Skills: English. French, Spanish, and/or Arabic a plus

Travel Required Must be willing and able to travel up to 25% internationally.

  • Effective and flexible communication skills
  • Excellent relationship management skills with ability to influence and get buy-in from people outside of one’s direct supervision
  • Strong strategic, analytical, organizational, and systems thinking skills with capacity to see the big picture and ability to make sound judgment
  • Ability to support multiple time zones; flexibility with one’s schedule is critical
  • Ethical conduct in accordance with recognized professional and organizational codes of ethics
  • Proactive, resourceful and results oriented
  • Ability to be effective with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in related discipline.
  • Experience with Oracle applications
  • Proven experience in presenting, facilitating and coaching.
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint
