Administrative Assistant (HEO 3)

  • Based in the Future Industries Institute at the Mawson Lakes campus
  • Full-time, fixed term contract until December 2022
  • Commencement Salary: $57,610 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

About The Role

The Administrative Assistant will undertake a range of administrative services to support the research activities of the Future Industries Institute (FII). As the first point of contact you will provide high level customer service to key stakeholders, actioning and responding to a broad range of enquiries.

Core Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming email, telephone, and face to face enquiries, prioritising and actioning appropriately
  • Undertake finance administration and generate reports for managers
  • Assist with the coordination of travel bookings
  • Contribute to the organisation of Institute specific events

Essential Skills And Experience

  • Previous experience in providing customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Understanding of finance administration including reconciliations, accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Experience working in a team based service environment
