Caron Engineering (CEI) is a small but vibrant growing company working in the global CNC machine industry. We develop and produce accessories that allow CNC machines to work smarter and more efficiently for some of the largest and most advanced companies in the world.

We are seeking a detailed-oriented full-time Administrative Assistant who would be responsible for all duties related to, but not limited to, processing purchase orders, data entry, quoting of parts and systems, greeting visitors, and assisting other departments.

Roles and Responsibilities

The responsibility of this role will include, but may not be limited to the following:

  • Process Customer Service emails and transfer to appropriate personnel
  • Purchase order processing
  • Creating quotes for parts, service, and systems
  • Handling multiple tasks from all departments; Back-up other departments
  • Assist with onsite meeting hotel stays, food preparation and cleanup.
  • Responsible for loading & maintaining contact data into calendar/contact system
  • Process time and expense data into job folders and accounting system
  • Data Entry into Sales CRM
  • Main Receptionist – greeting all guests and assure they are welcomed and comfortable
  • Responsible for answering phones, handle basic Q&A and forward calls to appropriate personnel
  • Keep reception area, breakroom, and shared area stocked, neat and tidy
  • A pleasant personality is necessary as you will be greeting customers and vendors

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • Solid working skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook)
  • Prior experience with inventory applications is a plus
  • Solid verbal, written, and teamwork skills
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills, be self-motivated and self-directed, plus have the ability to trouble-shoot and work closely with senior management and corporation officers
  • Attention to detail

Salary & Benefits

Starting salary of $45,000 to $55,000 dependent on experience and education
