Job Title: Administration, Training and Comms Specialist

Reports to: Head of Data and Information Technology

Location: Basel Switzerland

The Hengrui ex-China organization drives the development and commercialization of the Hengrui innovative medicines portfolio for the US, Europe and Japan. Our ex-China team drives strategy and operational implementation for clinical development, regulatory approval and commercial success.

Our parent company Jiangsu Hengrui Medicine (600276 SHA) is a global pharmaceutical company with around $90 Billion market value, $3.6 Billion annual revenue (data by 2019) and over 30,000 employees globally. Our pipeline opportunities include antineoplastic, metabolic, cardiac, surgical, contrast agents, anti-virals, and antibiotics. The therapeutic areas are diverse, covering oncology, autoimmune, pain management, neuroscience, metabolics, etc.

Tasks

  • Provision of administrative support to the Global IT and Data team – this will involve meeting scheduling (internal and external), logistics, travel bookings, budget management and general support
  • Co-ordination and delivery of general IT training – this will require identifying training needs, preparation, and delivery of O365 training to a range of employees
  • Organisation and preparation of communication initiatives – this will require coordinating, developing, and issuing companywide communications (such as quarterly newsletters and maintenance of the company intranet site)

Experience / Education

  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent
  • Experience in a variety of different relevant roles
  • Commitment to teamwork and supporting others
  • Commitment to continually developing skills in response to changing work demands
  • Proactive and self-motivated individual with excellent organizational and administrative skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage your own time
  • Enthusiasm and fun, enjoys working in a committed, hardworking team

Administration

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills (individual and team)
  • Ability to maintain excellent records, including using technology and databases
  • Ability to work across a range of work tasks, managing multiple tasks to deadlines and prioritizing your own workload
  • Excellent attention to detail and numeric skills
  • Evidence of well-developed written skills
  • Good interpersonal skills, including tact and diplomacy
  • Experience of managing team schedules and deadlines
  • Experience of budget management and procurement
  • Experience in budget management and procurement packages and using bespoke systems (with training).

Training

  • Experience in delivering general IT (Office 365) training to a wide range of employees
  • Experience in developing and delivering internal training programs
  • Knowledge of various training methods including coaching, workshops, classroom training, mentoring, and e-learning programs
  • Ability to track the performance of training programs, write reports and recommend strategies for improvement

Communications

  • Experience of developing and executing strategic internal communications plans
