An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Home First Stoke Team for a full time permanent Band 3 Office Administrator based at Longton Cottage Hospital.

The Home First service is an integrated clinical and care and support service that provides short term reablement intervention to enable people to maximise their independence and meet their health and social care needs within Midlands NHS Partnership Foundation Trust (MPFT).

The Home First Team are looking to recruit a highly organised office administrator who is proficient in a range of software programmes such as Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Word. It is vital that you have excellent typing skills and are able to cope well under pressure; you should be able to demonstrate that you have significant administration experience.

The successful candidate will be expected to provide a dedicated day to day administration service to support the Home First Care and Support and Clinical Teams ensuring all duties are provided in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.

You should be flexible, adaptable and willing to work as part of a team in order to meet the needs of the service, this will mean working outside of ‘usual’ office hours on occasions.

The ability to communicate and maintain professional relationships with work colleagues and senior post holders within the Trust is essential.

It is preferable that applicants have the ability to travel independently to occasionally support the admin teams in Newcastle and Leek if required.
