We are seeking a values-driven and dedicated Administration Support Worker, reporting to the Centre Manager.

We offer a range of services including Harm Reduction and Primary Health Services as well as a range of treatment types (including residential treatment centres, community-based support programs, counselling and withdrawal management services).

About The Role

We are seeking a values-driven and dedicated Administration Support Worker, reporting to the Centre Manager, you will provide effective support to Participants, ensuring a safe and structured environment is maintained.

You will successfully

  • Assist case workers to address client needs, administer the program contributing to case plans and provide supervision to participants.
  • Demonstrate commitment to an environment that values continuous improvement and innovation in the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Manage all general administration, and clerical activities.
  • Ensure the provision of prompt and efficient customer service to internal and external customers through reception related activities.

This is a fixed term (8 months) full-time/ part time(optional) position based at our Mount Isa Recovery Services Centre, however offering an extension until November 2025 for the right candidate.

Salary and conditions are in accordance with SCHADS Level 2 – $32.21 per hour with hours and days negotiable.

You will have

  • Certificate IV in a relevant discipline – Health/ AOD
  • Administrative experience, including implementing and coordinating administrative systems
  • Ability to work shifts across the week – Monday to Sunday
  • Knowledge of AOD, Community Services and Health Sectors is a must
  • An understanding of the issues faced by people experiencing AOD related issues, mental health, and other disabilities
  • Maintain a current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Current Driver’s licence
