The USAID-funded Climate Change Adaptation Project in Sri Lanka and the Maldives, implemented by Tetra Tech International Development (www.tetratech.com/intdev) is currently accepting expressions of interest for an Administration & Logistics Specialist / Maldives. This position will be located in the main office in Malé, Maldives.

The Climate Change Adaptation (CCA) Activity enhances the adaptive capacities of the public and private sectors and local communities in Maldives and Sri Lanka to climate change impacts in ways that contribute to sustained, inclusive market-based growth. This five-year project seeks to identify and scale up innovative solutions to adaptively manage climate-related risks through market-driven private sector and community engagement; strengthen central and/or local governance to address climate-related risks; and improve availability and access to high-quality information for decision-making to reduce vulnerability to climate change in both countries. The CCA Activity is a 5-year USAID contract being implemented by Tetra Tech, and runs through July 2026.

Under the supervision of Director of Administration and Finance, The Administration & Logistics Specialist is responsible for managing administration, financial, logistics and procurement for CCA Activity work in the Maldives. Ensure all the financial and procurement activities of the project are done in accordance with Tetra Tech Procurement and Financial Regulations. The Administration and Logistics Specialist will assist in book keeping, preparation of financial reports, process all types of payment requests, prepare periodic accounting records and manages payroll. Responsible for office operations, manages day-to-day office administrative requirements. This position reports to the DAF/Maldives.

Responsibilities:

The Administration & Logistics Specialist is responsible for managing administration, financial, logistics and procurement related to activity for CCA Project in the Maldives. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

*Manage daily operational activities of the CCA Project office in Male’, Maldives;

*Establish CCA Activity operations systems and policies for the Maldives that are compliant to USAID and Tetra Tech regulations and requirements as well as Maldives laws;

*Ensure that all financial and procurement activities are done in accordance with USAID and Tetra Tech Regulation;

*Comply and verify budget and accounting data by researching files, calculating costs, and estimating anticipated expenditures from readily available information sources for annual work plan and budget forecasting;

*Prepare financial status reports, progress reports and other required financial reports;

*Process all types of payment requests for settlement purpose for vendors and prepare and submit required reports to the relevant authorities;

*Prepare periodic accounting records by recording receipts and disbursements (ledgers, cash books, vouchers, etc.) and reconciling data for recurring or financial special reports and assist in preparation of annual procurement plan

*Ensure that an effective system of internal controls is operational and the internal audit system for the projects is working satisfactorily. Follow-up on issues arising out of internal audit.

*In close collaboration with the DCOP/Maldives, provide support to prepare budget and financial matters with the COP and DAF;

*Provide significant contributions to CCA Activity project deliverable documents including but not limited to Startup and Preliminary Work Plan, Annual Work Plan, Weekly Updates, Quarterly Reports, Annual Reports and Activity Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Plan.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business or related field;

* Minimum 3 years of demonstrated strong experience in project procurement and logistical administration, preferably for donor-funded projects.

* Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

* Professional fluency in written and spoken English as well as Dhivehi is required.
