About this opportunity

As Administration Assistant you will deliver effective and impactful integrated brand campaigns, in order to build relevance of the British Red Cross brand among our priority public audiences while championing our brand internally to ensure communications and behaviours throughout the organisation help us deliver on our promise to be the movement that connects human kindness with human crisis.
You will be responsible for providing data processing, printing, scanning, photocopying, and mail ser vices as required by teams in Internal Shared Services to provide cover for holidays, sickness, absence and high peak activities, ensuring that the work is appropriately prioritised and delivered
You will undertake reception duties dealing with supplies, deliveries and visitors and ensure existing covid-19 controls are adhered to within the office and any changes to said control put in place timeously, along with ensuring any facilities issues are reported promptly and to undertake any facilities duties as assigned to you and dealing with all incoming and outgoing mail, following organisation policy and procedures in a timely manner.

This role might be for you if…

  • You have knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Database packages
  • You are well organised with sound administrative skills
  • You can demonstrate a knowledge base in office administration and organisational skills
  • You have excellent customer service skills
  • You have a can-do attitude and are able to deal with issues in a diplomatic, professional and confidential manner both verbally and in writing
