We are currently inviting applications for the role of Administration and Compliance Assistant.

The role provides administration support within our Business and Operations team across both St Margaret’s and St Aidan’s Anglican Girls Schools, to support business efficiency, legislative and compliance requirements of the schools. This includes:

  • Providing administration support to the Assistant Director of Business and Operations with a particular focus on health and safety, performance and compliance reporting and contractor management including supporting tenders, engagement, onboarding and monitoring performance.
  • Providing administrator support to the wide range of programs and projects being undertaken.
  • Efficient and accurate blue card compliance and processing.
  • Supporting the health and safety administration and compliance requirements of the schools.
  • Proactively managing the program of bus bookings.

The ideal candidate

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, advanced administrator who can work autonomously, enjoys a fast-paced environment filled with a lot of variety and has strong attention to detail. We are looking for a candidate to join our team with:

  • Knowledge of risk management and compliance aspects relevant to the role.
  • Someone who enjoys a wide variety of work and will independently research.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills including in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly grasp new packages.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving with the ability to think quickly in new and unfamiliar circumstances and readily move with changing priorities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build positive working relationships.

The role will initially be offered on a 3 year contract with the potential to extend this if mutually agreeable at the end of this.
