Founded in 2003, Women Rehabilitation Organization (WRO) is a non-profit, non-governmental, independent organization dedicated to working to promote human rights and fundamental freedoms for all men, women, and children, eradicate poverty and violence against women, catalyze gender equality, protect child rights, improve poor health conditions and access to education, address climate change, drive peaceful coexistence, reconciliation and equal and fair pathways to justice, build trust, tolerance, and inclusion, engage youth, and strengthening the sustainability of civil society, and shape norms for localization development.


WROs mission is to engage as humanitarian aid workers to provide effective and efficient humanitarian aid and development support and empower individuals and communities to become agents of change where every woman, man, and child have access to social justice, gender equality, and a dignified life free from violence and discrimination. WROs vision is built on the principles and believes in collaboration and collective action of civil society, international organizations, and individuals in investing in the communal needs of refugees, IDPs, and host communities to forge social cohesion and peaceful coexistence.

In partnership with local, regional, and global civil society, international organizations, and governmental bodies, WRO has been able to successfully contribute towards meeting individual and community needs through multi-sectorial holistic programming that fosters gender and protection mainstreaming. For 2 decades WRO has successfully delivered over 100 humanitarian and development initiatives focused on local, regional, and global advocacy, stabilization and reconciliation, peacebuilding, general protection, child protection, SGBV prevention and response, psychological MHPSS and physical health and well-being, non-formal education, individual and community capacity building, wash, legal, advocacy, livelihoods, political and economic participation, voter and democratic awareness, reconstruction, and civil society and governmental capacity building and engagement initiatives. Furthermore, WRO is devoted to international commitments including contribution to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), UNSCR 1325 on Women, Peace, and Security, and UNSCR 2250 on Youth, Peace, and Security.


As a national and regional expert in holistic individual, family and community economic, education, protection, social, and equal participation empowerment, WROs efforts have shed light locally and internationally through advocacy on many important issues such as mainstreaming gender-based violence (GBV) prevention and response across all sectors, sexual violence in conflict (SVC), and other issued related to marginalized groups rights in Iraq and the Middle East through initiatives that directly impact tens of thousands of families each year including through the provision of lifesaving support and developmental dignified solutions and services that drive individual and collective healing, integration, inclusion, resiliency, self-determination, and peaceful coexistence with dignity and care.


Qualifications & Preferred Skills

 

The Admin Officer is responsible for providing support in the various admin and logistic functions, which include assists in providing support for the project staff, collaborate with HR, Logistic and Finance.

 The incumbent will be responsible for the below main duties:-

  • Implement a Program logistics Plan developed by the program team and Operation teams.
  • Conduct all procurement and logistic activities in the Program with adherence to WRO’s policies and procedures.
  • Manager regular inventory (Monthly, quarterly, yearly) for assets within the mission and Ensure accuracy of all inventories
  • Ensure timely delivery of procured supplies and materials, and track delivery and procurement status, payment and report regularly to the Head of Operations.
  • Responsible of compiling and collecting all support documents related to each single expense and in accordance with WRO procedure’s requirements.
  • Prepare reports on all procurement and logistic issues and report to the Head of Operations.
  • Manage WRO’s field drivers and fleet tracking sheet, and make sure it is filled on a monthly basis.
  • Manage WRO’s generator track sheets, and make sure it is filled on a monthly basis.
  • Provide assistance in any logistic or admin issues to WRO’s team members.
  • Undertake other duties as requested by the Head of Operations and/or the Logistic Coordinator.

  • Support in collecting field team time-sheets.
  • Provide regular training to the field drivers on safety and security.

 

 

Qualification:

  • Bachelor degree is required.
  • Bachelor degree in Business Management and/or accounting is preferable
  • 3 years of experience in related domains with NGO/INGOs
  • Fluent in English, Arabic, and Kurdish
