Ektimisi is a research and development MENA-based consulting firm operating in many countries in the Middle East, North Africa, and Eastern Europe Regions. Ektimisi provides a wide range of services for non-profit and civil society organizations, donors, research bodies, and academic centers. Through our field teams and local partners, we have access to and can provide Third- Party Monitoring (TPM), evaluation, research, capacity building, entrepreneurship, and economic empowerment services in many locations in the Middle East (Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Occupied Territories of Palestine, and Turkey), North Africa (Libya, South Sudan, and Somalia), and Eastern Europe (Moldova and Ukraine).

Expected Role

EKTIMISI is looking for fresh graduate and undergraduate students and junior experts to join its team to support in administration work and communication with different stakeholders. The candidate should have very strong communication (speaking) skills in English.

Key Tasks:

  • Archiving of key documents on Ektimisi drive
  • Communication with main stakeholders such as clients, consultants, field researchers, etc.
  • Support in HR work such as preparing shortlists, communication with selected candidates and onboarding for new staff/ interns.
  • Organize the meetings and appointments of the Operation Director
  • Update Ektimisi key trackers
  • Support in projects implementation
  • Ensure effective client communication when needed and as requested.
  • Ensure deadlines are met and respected.
  • Support in the management of Ektimisi social media pages
  • Perform other duties arising from the nature of the tasks above based on development of business and work activities.

Qualifications Required

  1. Have native or native like English language skills (must)
  2. Strong communication skills (must)
  3. A relevant university degree (social sciences, conflict management, development studies, etc.)
  4. Demonstrate an understanding of development/ humanitarian sector (highly preferrable)
  5. Excellent skills with Word and Excel (highly preferrable)
  6. Ability to work with designing applications such as adobe illustrator (highly preferrable)
  7. Have an ability to manage different activities and to meet deadlines

Note:
