Are you looking to help join and help create a market leading CRM practice? Working in tandem with internal collaborators and agency partners, the CRM team is currently redefining what CRM means for our business. As the Digital Messaging Manager, your role will be key in enabling our business to deliver data-enabled touchpoints to Canadians every single week. With your rich experience in email marketing and automation you complement our growth, brand and lifecycle teams.
What you’ll do:
Execute on brand, lifecycle, and growth strategies for our owned channels (email & push), with development of new touchpoints, segmentation, and automations focused on improved relevance and scale.
Use HTML to code, develop, deploy, emails/push notifications within the ecosystem of Adobe Campaign Manager, Salesforce Pardot, and Firebase Cloud Messaging – with the goals of driving operational efficiency, marketing effectiveness and scalability.
Co-own B2C/B2B CRM planning and deployment calendar alongside business partners to schedule and manage all upcoming touchpoints.
Execute functional channel operations, including but not limited to, data preparation, campaign QA, deployment checklists, deliverability monitoring and database management activities to ensure touchpoints are deployed error-free and sender reputation is maintained.
Create and maintain a playbook of standards for effective email design, list management, and automation – establishing frameworks to scale and accelerate our practice in adherence to CASL regulation.
Complete ongoing A/B testing and experiment design in partnership with our internal stakeholders – providing channel performance and insights.
Provide insights upon channel performance, segmentation and experimentation roadmaps (A/B and multivariate) to enable ongoing optimisations; delivering positive impacts in cost, time-to-market, personalisationor marketing efficiency across Kijiji.
Optimise usage of creative resources by applying your technical HTML/CSS skill sets to build emails within a foundation of responsive modular templates
Key stakeholder in the strategic development of all marketing and product automations providing subject matter expertise for channel delivery.
Champion a collaborative working model supporting a highly engaged, adaptable and energisedteam working at both local and global levels seeking insights and recommendations for driving business results through campaign optimisation.
Does this sound like you:
3-5 years of hands-on experience developing and implementing CRM campaigns, powered by a rich data ecosystem at a retailer, CRM agency, or comparable industry
2-3 year experience of building, coding, and executing upon email campaigns
Desire to build technical digital marketing skills and keeping on-top of email/CRM marketing trends and best practices, new technologies and industry thought leadership.
Strong experimentation and analytics competence – using web analytics (Google Analytics), email analytics, data visualisation tools (i.e. Tableau/Looker), and customer segmentation models to craft experiments and use findings to provide recommendations
Strong understanding of Martech and Enterprise level ESPs – with hands-on development experience within Adobe/Salesforce and Marketing Automation platforms.
Strong understanding on how to craft, implement, integrate, and scale sophisticated user flows and technical workflows.
Strong communication and partnership skills across all levels and teams; with proficiency in data analysis, data visualisation, and presentations to communicate ideas and recommendations
Bias to action with an ability to get in the trenches to drive work forward, handle a high output, and maintain a strategic approach.
French proficiency is a plus
