Space client hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer to take new projects to literal new heights! *
Description:* The main functions of the position will be:
Create motor performance simulations for new applications to support the sales process.
Create mechanical & electrical assembly drawings of new configurations to be delivered by sales as new application proposals.
Perform analytical calculations to verify safe compliance of products to customer application.
Manage new product programs from design through shipment, monitoring and improving schedules throughout the plant.
Design, write, and perform advanced testing of motors for qualification campaigns.
Qualifications:*
0-3 yrs experience if related coursework or current position is directly related to motor design.
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
Able to demonstrate high level ownership of task and responsibility
Able to demonstrate experience managing program schedules with effective organization.
Experience with AutoCad and Solidworks design platforms.

Other platform experience will be considered beneficial as well if comparable.
