Firstaff Personal Consultants are working with some excellent clients who are looking for Accounts Assistant.

Main Purpose of Job:

The person will be a key member of the Finance Function, working with the Finance Manager and assisting in the day-to-day operations of the finance department. This role is ideal for a candidate looking to develop into a finance career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing customer invoices, credits and statements;

• Uploading invoices to the accounts system;

• Dealing with customer account queries;

• Activating new customer accounts;

• Posting bank receipts to debtor’s ledger;

• Processing & managing monthly direct debits;

• Processing supplier invoices and credits onto system;

• Reconciling supplier statements and reconciling the accounts;

• Dealing with supplier queries.

Experience Required:

A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a similar role in a finance department,

AIT or similar qualification preferred;

Ability to work on your own initiative;

Ability to multitask whilst prioritising deadlines;

Excellent organisational, analytical and time management skills;

Numerate with very good PC skills MS Excel, Word essential;

Strong communication skills verbal & written.

Location: Dublin 22

Contract: Full-Time

Days of Work: Monday to Friday

The salary range is €30,000 – €40,000 depending on experience.
