Responsibilities
Assist Accounting staff with data validation (bordereaux validation, etc.).
Update Excel spreadsheets, as needed.
Assist with the preparation of journal entries, bank reconciliations, and other general ledger account reconciliations.
Assist with validation, organization, and mailing of documents to Insureds and third parties.
Assist with routine office duties as needed.
Special assignments as needed within the Accounting Department.
Must be a trustworthy, responsible person with strong work ethic.
Regular, predictable attendance as employee must physically be in the office.

Qualifications
High school diploma.
Actively enrolled as a college student with a minimum of two years toward a Bachelor’s degree desired – Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.
Completion of Accounting 101 and 102.
Ability to adhere to detailed instructions.
Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets.
Microsoft office and computer experience.
Ability to work well with others, both inside and outside organization.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Environmental factors: Standard office, lighting, temperature and noise.
