Description

The Finance Associate will directly assist the accounting team with a range of projects related to; accounts payable, accounts receivable, entering expenses, and other entry level finance related tasks. This internship is designed to be both educational and practical.

Roles and Responsibilities/ Essential Functions:

  • Assist with Accounts Payable Activities
  • Assist with Accounts Receivable Activities
  • Involvement in weekly and monthly inventory audits
  • Work with Sales Leadership on financial analysis to help drive decisions
  • Work with Operational leadership to help better understand cost drives
  • Other activities as assigned by the Controller

Required Experience:

  • Some complete courses in the finance or accounting field

Preferred Experience:

  • Position or internship in finance or accounting

Required Skills, Education and/ or Certifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Currently a college student through a finance or accounting program (associates or bachelor’s degree)
  • 3.5 minimum GPA

Preferred Skills, Education and/ or Certifications:

  • Proficient with Microsoft office suite; Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel, etc.
