Accountant – Yemen

• Prepare the estimated budget in coordination with the Director of the Office, follow up its implementation, and submit periodic follow-up reports to the budget.
• Recording the accounting operations of the transactions that have taken place and verifying the appearance of their results in the financial statements and reports, as well as ensuring that they are classified in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and that the classification and registration process was properly applied in accordance with the accounting standards approved by the association and the countries subject to the branch.
• Make monthly bank reconciliations and send the bank account statement showing the number of exchange requests on the system to the direct supervisor.
• Ensure that the financial conditions for contracting or purchasing and upon receipt of items or services are applied.
• Protect the assets and investments of the Office and ensure that they are properly recorded in the books in accordance with the approved policies, and update the fixed assets register regularly.
• Periodic verification of the validity of the balances of the Office’s projects and guarantees, the obligations incurred, and the surplus or deficit and submit periodic reports thereon.
• Preparation of financial statements, reports and final accounts.

other duties:

• Will be a membership in procurement committees.
• Will be a membership in asset and property inventory committees.
• Participate in the annual evaluation of the assistant accountant.
• Carry out all other accounting work assigned to him by the direct supervisor and that fall within the scope of his job.
