Design Holdings Inc is looking for a Staff Accountant to support the Controller and VP Finance in accounting and finance activities. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for performing general bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, maintaining financial reports, and maintaining and reconciling customer and vendor accounts. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and demonstrated knowledge of technical and operational accounting and finance functions are a must.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison with vendor partners’ finance and accounting teams
• Maintain A/R and A/P accounts
• Enter Expenses
• Reconcile bank to book
• Process Refunds
• Perform monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Perform such other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required

Our Ideal Candidate

• Has 3-5 years experience as a bookkeeper or accountant
• Has college degree in accounting or business
• Has experience using Quickbooks
• Has a sense of urgency: is on time, gets things done quickly, and responds to people as quickly and as diligently as possible
• Has strong excel skills
• Is well organized and can juggle a lot of open issues at once
• Is a self-starter who can work independently
• Has excellent computer skills
• Is completely at ease with browser-based applications, online shopping, and chat applications
• Prior experience in manufacturing, ecommerce and/or product inventory
• Position can be remote!!!!
