We are currently seeking a talented Accountant to join our dynamic and growing team. The Accountant reports to the Director of Finance and supports the finance team and leadership. This is currently a remote position but occasionally may need to come into the office for meetings, training, etc.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assists with all functions of the Accounting department including monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, capital investment reconciliation and revenue postings.
  • Maintains fixed assets, ensuring adequate support for all additions, disposals and transfers for SAC and SAI. 
  • Responsible for credit applications and insurance vendor/payment tracking.
  • Handles personal property tax filings and returns, Escheat, and assists with 990 annual tax filings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

Successful candidates will possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 3-5 years or relevant experience in Accounting
  • Experience with computerized accounting systems, preferably Infor/Lawson
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
  • Strong interpersonal skills, organizational and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task, detail-oriented, stay organized and anticipate the needs of the team in a very busy office
  • Healthcare experience preferred
