Someone on TikTok once said, “Keep being curious. Keep asking questions” and that’s exactly what we need out of our Account Services Intern. Account Services interns play a crucial role in helping the Account team run smoothly, which in turn keeps the Creative team on schedule.
Job summary: As a part of the Agency Habitat team, our Account Service interns will assist brand managers and project managers with various day-to-day activities relating to their accounts. You’ll also work alongside team leads to maintain individual job status and identify current/potential workload challenges within a fast-paced environment. Creative problem-solving and extreme organizational skills are a daily requirement, and you must be ready to tackle challenges and recognize opportunities.
Key responsibilities:
Account Service interns will have the ongoing opportunity to:
- Initiate the opening of new jobs, creating actionable communication steps for the Account Services team and other departments
- Assist in the day-to-day management of individual projects and miscellaneous campaigns for multiple brands
- Manage internal and client-facing documents including status reports, financial trackers, etc.
- Assist in the distribution and delivery of ads/marketing materials
- Seek and analyze industry trends
- Build knowledge of Agency Habitat internal process while working with various departments within the agency
- Participate in any agency-wide intern projects
- Complete other tasks as assigned
- Local travel may be required
Relationships:
Reports to: Senior Project Manager and/or Project Management Supervisor
Qualifications:
Education: Working towards B.A. or B.S. in Business, Management, Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, Public Relations, Liberal Arts or other related fields
Work requirements: 20+ hours per week (maximum 29.5 hours)
Knowledge and skill set requirements:
- Strong analytical skills, focus and attention to detail
- Possesses a high degree of initiative and resourcefulness in completing work
- Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions independently
- Displays excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skill
- Exhibits ability to handle multiple tasks with solid performance
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proven ability to work optimally with individuals from a diverse set of backgrounds
