We are seeking an Account Executive for our North American Sales organization. This role is responsible for selling the Koerber software suite, specifically Transportation Spend Optimization (TSO) to new customers through direct and face-to-face contact by fostering a long-term client relationship. This strategic role requires effective collaboration and communication within our company, including the executive team, product management, support, marketing, services, and sales.
What a Day In The Life Looks Like

  • Responsible for selling new accounts for the TSO business
  • Network within the Körber ecosystem to unearth new opportunities
  • Clear understanding of the Transportation and Freight Audit and Pay market and how this form of automation can help Distributors and Retailers digitize their operation
  • Proactively research and analyze available prospect situational information (10-K, earnings calls, social media, customer articles, etc.) to build and position a preemptive value proposition to a prospect before they identify their own need
  • Position and sell the full value of Körber solutions to maximize revenue and growth by leveraging a proactive, consultative customer engagement model and sales process
  • Plan and conduct customer discovery sessions to gain valuable insight into the prospect’s business, vision, and clarity about how Körber products and services can help them achieve their goals
  • Maintain constant awareness of markets, competitor activities, and challenges within assigned targeted prospects, recognize trends that develop, and make appropriate recommendations
  • Enable our executives to understand the key business imperatives and initiatives of key prospects
  • Responsible for basic account management and sales generation in the account
  • Conduct business responsibly to ensure proper expectations are managed from sales engagement through delivery and support to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction
  • Follow established delivery handoff procedure to ensure customers efficiently, transparently and fluidly transition from Sales to Delivery
  • Responsible for contract optimization, project consulting for result optimization

What You Bring To The Team

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, or Marketing
  • 3+ years of transportation sales experience
  • The ability to travel up to 35-40%
  • Post-graduate education or training, preferred
  • Familiarity with Körber products, preferred

Base Salary range 120 – 130K*
This compensation range is indicative of the role. Compensation offered is based on evaluation during interview process, the candidate’s range and depth of experience, business and market financials and internal pay parity.
