Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Account Executive will join a strong Sales Team that values collaboration, communication and transparency within a Sales POD structure. The Account Executive will be accountable for driving profitable growth by developing Territory Based Account Prospects into Customers using the defined Navigate360 Opportunity Management sales process and market development sales activities. The Account Executive will develop and lead a dynamic, results-oriented go-to-market strategy in tune with the complexities of growing revenue by identifying, targeting, designing and selling prospects in a defined territory that can find value in Navigate360’s products and services. The individual will lead the effort to accelerate customer acquisition by leveraging Navigate360’s highly differentiated value-adds through selling to prospects. A key focus will be to develop a measurable, scalable, high-velocity, and proactive sales approach supported by a savvy market development and demand generation strategy. They also must link the sales to the operational capability of Navigate360. Making new customers successful will be the key to sustainable growth.

The methodology behind sales pods is to use the power of community and teamwork to focus and align well-rounded groups of team members on a targeted objective.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for building a territory plan in a defined geographic territory that consists of medium-sized prospects to meet sales quota
  • Consistently prospect for new logos while driving profitable revenue and exceeding quotas
  • Prospect and acquire new customers using the Navigate360 Opportunity Management process
  • Identify prospect needs and effectively understand and respond to prospect objections
  • Connect prospects business objectives with Navigate360 offerings and solutions
  • Assist the prospect in understanding the return on their investment with Navigate360
  • Be proactive in all aspects of opportunity development
  • Leverage available marketing tools and content
  • Utilize the buyer personas and understand the buying process as well as the Navigate360 Opportunity Management sales methodology to find, manage and close opportunities
  • Manage/Update opportunities in Salesforce
  • Develop and nurture key prospects and relationships through timely virtual meetings
  • Deliver proposal and quote presentations
  • Manage and resolve prospect concerns and issues related to sales opportunities
  • Execute prospecting strategy through targeted efforts
  • Accountable for achieving sales targets
  • Interface with internal departments creating strong working relationships/efficiencies
  • Forecast demand for assigned sales territory
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administrator or other related field required
  • 3 years of Software as a Service(SaaS) or K-12 sales experience
  • Proven Account Executive who has an established track record of selling value-based software solution benefits to improve a customer’s value
  • Demonstrated track record of building and cultivating revenue in a sales territory
  • Demonstrates a comprehensive commercial skill set including helping establish and even build sales and go-to-market strategies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Software as a Service(SaaS) or K-12 sales experience

Normal Working Hours and Conditions: Core business hours are generally 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. However, this position will require work to be performed outside of normal business hours based on Company operations.

Physical Requirements: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting including verbally communicating, seeing and hearing to exchange information and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard. Daily physical functions include standing, sitting and walking for prolonged periods of time and occasionally stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and twisting. The employee may engage in lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling light to moderate amounts of weight up to 25 pounds. The position also requires the operation of office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement.
